Nothing wrong with lifting weights and a boxer would be a full not to lift weights..It is all about the weight training program, you dont lift like a body builder, you lift to build speed and explosiveness..So you are lifting weights you can push fast while under control.
Very few cats fight at their walking around weight these days & probably close to zero percent non-HW world class guys do.
Also age tends to make it harder to lose weight &/or you gain weight so often guys need to move up naturally due to not being able or wanting to cut as much weight.
That's not to say no one is steroiding their way to another division I just doubt it's THAT wide spread &/or common.
