The legal battle continues in Puerto Rico between Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo and his former coach and manager Ricardo "Ricky" Marquez. The Court of Appeals rejected the appeal presented by Marquez in which he asked them to review a decision regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions in the Professional Boxing Regulations of the Sports and Recreation Department (DRD).

Finally it looks like Felix Verdejo will get that leach of a manager out of his career. Who knows maybe some of his bad training habits, and lackluster fights can be attributed to his managerial problems. It's hard to fight at your best, when your at odds with your manager. When your in a contract that you believe is exploiting you, and not in your best interest. That can affect the fighters performance in the ring enormously. Looking forward to see how effective Verdejo is in his next fight.
