Did Wilder fire this guy because he threw in the towel? Either way I don’t see what business it is to anyone or why anyone cares. He could be looking to add things to his repertoire. Many fighter’s part with long time trainer’s after a loss. It’s misguided imo, the trainer should be given an opportunity to adapt as the fighter is looking to, but usually it’s the fighter recognising he needs to grow/change.

No idea why fanboys think fighter’s should keep a trainer employed for the entirety of his career. Like the fighter’s owe them something.
