I think Plant beats Charlo. Fast hands and feet with decent pop. That's a fight I'd like to see.

The funny thing is there’d be more money and viewership for Canelo vs Benavidez
Benavidez destroys Charlo no doubt in my mind.

Exactly! Much better than a fight with Eubank Jr., and much more at stake! Tired of fighters waiting around for Canelo and Pacquiao! Make your own movement!

not yet, but Murtazaliev has been mentioned and was Rosario's mandatory for some time now, so to me its an evident next step for the IBF champ

I think Benavidez is the toughest matchup for Canelo of all the guys mentioned even Beterbiev. Benavidez when he is right is big , long, has good handspeed and will try to deter Canelo from getting on the inside or even the mid range. If Canelo gets inside and keeps the fight there with quick combos up and down stairs he wins. If it is on the outside then it will be very close. I think Canelo struggles with him more than Bivol, GGG, Plant, Beterbiev , etc. You notice i didnt mention Charlo, or Andrade. Canelo works the big Charlo, and Andrade doesnt throw enough punches.

I'm gonna respond to both posts in 1. My take on Benavidez and Canelo at 168 is it would more than likely be an all out war but I give Benavidez the edge in a split decision. I think his change up speed, range, and power would be too much for Canelo. I will say Canelo has surprised me before though. I just dont see him winning it. Just my opinion.

As far as people waiting around for the Canelo and Pac lottery draw I think its ridiculous and shows how many people are boxing for the wrong reasons nowadays. If more fighters would fight the best opposition for whatever money they can make at the time they would get paid 10 fold on the back end.

Charlo should fight Andrade then move to 168 and start cleaning up the division if hes capable. The big money will come if he would invest in himself. The same could be said for Plant too. I dont even wanna get started on the other divisions that could take all day.

You forget that Canelo didn't have the balls to fight GGG until Kell Brook and Jacobs revealed his aura of invincibility was fallable.

Where were Canelo's ballz before then?
Lol. Caneo started 2016 with the GGG narrative. The same thing Haymon does Loeffler and Anel Sánchez tried to do with splits. They wanted a huge split because GGG had all the belts. It’s the politics of boxing. Nevertheless in 2017 he fought GGG. Unlike AJ and Wilder or Crawford or Spence, Canelo fought GGG. He’s got bigger balls than you and all the guys mentioned

His career is starting to remind me of Mikey Garcia vs. Top Rank!
David is talented? Explain the techniques. All I see in Benavidez is a Chavez Jr. tbh. Chavez Jr. was fighting a younger age than David and both were in the spotlight at around the same age. In the Dirrell fight David looked like an ordinary fighter. The difference is that he towers his opponents and probably cuts 20lbs of water easily, at least before. I don’t see David beating Canelo at all. It’d be a good fight but I don’t see it.
