Indirectly, Did Floyd ruin boxing because of the obsession with being undefeated

now I don't mean to blame Floyd directly here, but is there an argument that Pre-Floyd, fighters were willing to take riskier fights because their wasn't this weird obsession with being undefeated. I think Floyd made that a selling point in his career, and it seems like alot of boxers today cherish the "O" and that hinders the big fights.

Back in the 90s, you were expected to lose, fighters didn't give a ***** about being "undefeated", if anything it made you look more su****ious as you were probably taking easier fights.

again, I'm not blaming Floyd directly, but more indirectly

Nope. Promoters such as Bob Arum made a big deal about emphasizing the zero.

De La Hoya for example was carefully managed to be undefeated for as long as possible.

Fraudweather's fake fights, corruption, handpicking, ducking and boring style ruined boxing in America.

Fraudweather was installed by the US boxing establishment to be the fake counterfeit star face of the sport because America stopped producing boxing greats to sell after Oscar Holyfield Jones Hopkins.

Haymon was able to rig Floyd's career after 2006, everything was fixed in one way or another, whether it was bribed opponents, scripted fake fights or bought off judges (pac fight).

Fraudweather chased away many boxing and sports fans to UFC. Fraud killed the ppv model and has destroyed hbo and showtime by not giving the fans the fights they wanted.

To prove my point, fraud has even admitted twice on video that he is a coward and he's ok with it.

Floyd was boring and fake and has no charisma so as soon as he lost, his career as a seller would be over. His masters knew it and had to protect the investment. Floyd knew he was protected and thus he acted the way he did with the fake confidence and big talk.

But there were many times when we saw his true bitc h colors, brian kenny interview on espn, when margarito confronted him, radio shows with Rugged man and Rude jude and also that media roundtable in the room when floyd was practically crying to to the media to stop forcing him to fight pac.

this thread is weird. floyd fought 25 championship fights through five weight classes. that's 50% of his fights being at the highest level. what fighter can compare to that?

The opposite. Floyd actually helped elevate many boxers' lives. Because of this, even semi-good fighters are breaking the bank these days. I remember when name fighters made just tens of thousands or even lower. Floyd, for the most part, fought top competition as well, unlike all these mostly unknown fighters.

The 0 obsession didn’t start with him but was pushed it onto this generation.

He brought eyes to the sport and gave everyone the false impression that boxing is boring.

Mayweather was terrible for the sport.

You don’t box and you don’t know **** about boxing.
The definition of fraud is Pacquiao fighting an OLD, EXPOSED AS A CHEATER, Margarito who was also UNRANKED for a VACANT TITLE at a CATCHWEIGHT then claiming “8 division champ” LOL
