The rematch clause was only valid until August but it was extended until the end of the year. It has been extended because of Covid but it has to be signed soon otherwise the clause is no longer valid.

That’s why Fury is talking about fighting someone else if Wilder doesn’t confirm he is fighting soon, because the clause is about to expire at the end of the year and Fury has the right to move on
