'Not having a top on' Fail on the biggest difference between the amateurs and pro ranks
6 round debut vs a guy not there to roll over is a promising start to a career
He's right though these days, there really ain't so much between the two sports any more, cept the Ams have same day weigh ins, more rational weightclasses and proper universal rankings without the cherrypicking. Unfortunately they also got the corruption too.
Steven 'the Quiet Man' Ward who got flattened by Bolotmiks 10 months ago Vs A.N.Opponent going by the name of Jone Volou who's coming off 4 consecutive losses.
Good debut from Fail, dominated throughout. Got a sense that the Camden Caretaker's heading for a career as a journeyman... I'll be interested to watch how Fail progresses though.
Fail was a decent amateur man. ABA finalist, has a pretty awkward style being a tall southpaw too.
Great having Barry Jones on commentary, Sky not having a bias commentator shilling, and having a guy actually assessing the fight from a technical perspective is a welcome change.

I could see from his technique he had some pedigree and I thought the name sounded vaguely familiar but I don't recall ever actually seeing him fight in the ammys. He looks to have some real skill, Chapman ain't great but he ain't there to just lie down either.

I missed the fight tbh man, just got back from a meal, I remember watching him lose to Jordan Reynolds though in the ABA’s.
