I wouldn't mind this fight as much if guys fought 3-4 times per year. Unfortunately, it's more like 1-2 times so opportunities are few and far between during a fighter's prime. When you think about it, if a fighter's prime is roughly between the ages of 25-32 give or take, a guy might only fight 7-14 times during that period.

When you look at it like that, you definitely don't want to see too many of those wasted on fights that aren't competitive on paper.

With all that said, I'm rooting for Gabe Rosado to bring it like usual and predicting that Jacobs will handle him if he's still elite.

Puzzling. Easy money for Jacobs, but does nothing to progress his career. Its like he's not motivated to fight for the belt anymore

I’m not sure if its me but the American boxer these days is all about just fighting the fights that do nothing for the sport and they’re a 100/1 favorite.

This **** has to stop it’s killing the sport of
Boxing. I could careless if these guys are getting paid millions and we as fans have to be invested into their journey to “Generational wealth” hahaha

Sport is a joke. Nobody ask for Jacobs-Rosado, Haney-Gamboa and even Davis-Santa Cruz. All our huge mismatches

Damn 2 years went fast. Last I remember he fought Tapia and was searching for the Jacobs fight for a hot minute. So yes damn DAZN been close to 2 years now

I could have sworn Rosado had retired. He was never all that good to begin with, why am I expected to believe that he's credible opposition for Jacobs now? I know times are hard but surely they can do better than this.
