Well, he didn't did he, he got a bad hand in the first fight but then lost the second fight convincingly

His best win is Matthew Macklin or someone, its not good is it.

I'm no massive fan of canelo either, I think middleweight has been a trash division for years.
115-113x2 and 114-114 as the B side against a Cash Cow is on "official scorecards" convincing?

    Since when?

And as much as you claim to not be a massive Canelo fan come on, tell everyone who was better than GGG at 160 since 2010 and who was more avoided than him?

He called out everyone and the best people got was Ward at 168 or Lara 154 and both with proper context were...

Not available for GGG to fight (Lara/Ward)
Not in his weight class (Lara is a career 154lber, Ward 168/175)

Or in Wards special case declined the fight in 2013, only to come back in 2015 with the NEED FOR TUNE UPS for a fight in 2016 because he couldn't make 168.

    Come on man.

Lots of credit. Since Canelo moved to 168 GGG is considered the best middleweight in the world by the majority and would be a slight betting favorite over Jermall who is now considered the 2nd best middleweight in the world by the majority. GGG is 38 but he still fights great and has only one debatable loss to Canelo by a single round and a very close fight with Dervy that could have gone either way marring his record. He has a fight coming up with a guy Ring magazine ranks number 5 in the world. How GGG looks in that fight will determine how much Credit Jermall gets for beating GGG. Pacquiao is much older than GGG but is still ranked 10th best PFP by most ranking places and anyone would beats him will get lots of credit. GGG is still ranked as the 7th best pound for pound boxer in the world by Ring, Boxing Scene, ESPN, Boxrec and the rest of the major ranking places so it would be a very big win for Jermall if he beats GGG.

It would still be a good win, and if Charlo were to win in style he would get credit. Would've been better if the fight happened shortly after Charlo moved up, GGGs age and latest performances have definitely taken some steam off what a victory over him would've meant even a few years ago.

I think he would get a 5 out of 10 credit.

Still a very good win. But.....

GGG is now a shell of his prime self.

It all depends on how(if) he beats GGG. GGG is a lot older now. But if he completely dominates G, then i give him credit, if he knocks G out, I give him tons of credit. If he barely gets by G, ala Saul, then its just a W.

But like others said, by the time that somehow gets made... who knows how old GGG will be and if he’ll have already lost again
                Yeah he is

Chenko couldn't hold prime GGG's jock strap

depends on how he beats him, if he beats him clean and well, then quite a lot of credit i would say, it would be a good win for him
