Ward ranks higher for me. Roy might have the better single win and was more impressive at SMW, but Ward has a deeper resume. He more or less cleaned out SMW.

Roy Jones is the vastly superior boxer and fighter . I don't think it is even close. To me Ward is one of the most overrated boxers ever. I don't think he was that good and he was an extremely dirty fighter. If you think he was great that is your choice but not mine.Ward was a wrestling mauling head butting ball punching illegal holding and hitting fighter and was one of the most awful fighters to watch. There are lots of videos of his fights so those that like him can enjoy them.

Resume wise, Ward ranks higher. He beat Froch, Kessler and Abraham.

Come on man, Roy Jones is the greatest SMW ever.

Ward's the most accomplished, but that's because he never had to fight Roy

RJJ in any and all ways. RJJ at 168 is probably one of the top 15 fighters ever in any weight class. That's a conservative comment too.
