I hear Canelo haters saying that Kovalev’s jab has no significance compared to Jermell’s body jab.

The Krusher, a known POWER JABBER, lunged a hard extended jab while Yarde rushed into it trying to hook.

    Food for thought!

I think it’s more about the opponent than the winner.

Yarde had never fought at any sort of decent level and don’t think he had been to the 11th round before. He was just totally spent for those reasons.

Kovalev has a very solid jab though, it did play a part.

Rosario, a world champion being stopped by a light jab to the body at that point of the fight was a bit pathetic

I mean we all watch boxing consistently. Fighters fade to the end. When was the last time you saw a fighter “HURT BAD” yet perform stronger in the later round. Ironically, look at Kovalev. He was getting his groove on and tagging Canelo better at the later rounds, many felt Kovalev was leading and Canelo at least needed 11-12 to secure a win. Kovalev gets a second wind in the Yarde fight and Canelo bouts. Rosario was just an anomaly...

      Total punches:

      Kova 223:132 Yarde
      Charlo 64:85 Rosario

Actually I only watch the weigh ins, so I can watch boxers in their panties

Got no interest in the fights in those big ugly shorts

We’re talking about female boxing/mma weigh ins, yes?
