That's a great age. Nothing depressing about it. Maybe you aren't even in your prime in life yet. Cheer up, yo!

For boxers, however, it's quite different. Bud can turn a dud at any point, and I am a big fan. I don't care about cross streets.

And OP forgot to wish Crawford a Happy Birthday! Shame. But hey, 33 and good diet and exercise and if Bud can get 3 great fights in the next year, that will make up for some time. If he faces 2-3 of these guys, that will be time well spent: Spence, Pac, Thurman, Virgil Ortiz, Ugas, maybe even Boots Ennis.

In fact, when I hear boxers say they want to leave the sport a legend, blah blah, how about prove it? Too many day dreamers in boxing and not enough action.
Remember, Crawford said he's already a lock for Hall of Fame because he "Beat The Man Who Beat The Man", meaning Jeff Horn.

Big difference. Crawford at 33 is only a little past prime. Brook at 34 is a washed up fighter. GGG and Spence beat much of the fight and heart out of him about 4 years ago. Since then Brook has only had a few cherry pick fights and looked lousy. Porter or Thurman or Ugas would have been good fights for Crawford. Brook is yet another Crawford cherrypick. Not as bad a cherrypick as Khan but close. Crawford is probably a 4 to 1 betting favorite. Does anyone want to bet on Brook at those good oods? How about you, Al? Are you going to bet on Brook?

There is nothing to get going. The fight is official and Crawford is a 9 to 1 favorite. It is another Arum cherry pick for Crawford. Crawford damn sure would not be that big a favorite if he was fighting Porter. As long as Crawford keeps cherry picking guys no better than khan and Brook he will stay champion as long as he wants.
