Comments Thread For: Casimero: Naoya Inoue Is Scared Of Me; He's No Monster!

UNCASVILLE, Connecticut John Riel Casimero asked if he could take off his mask at the start of his post-fight press conference Saturday night. The colorful Filipino fighter didn't want to hide his face while he spoke. He couldn't hide his disdain for Naoya Inoue, either. The WBO bantamweight champion called out the unbeaten Japanese star he was supposed to fight April 25 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Casimero wants to fight Inoue next, assuming the heavily favored IBF/WBA bantamweight champ, who is nicknamed "Monster," wins against Australian challenger Jason Moloney next month.

    *pops champagne cork*

I’ll never understand how boxing fans can neglect the smaller weights.

I’m starting to agree with the poster that said he doesn’t follow boxing above 147 which is also wrong but I get it.

Casimero and Inoue are 2 boxers that make our sport great and should fight each other soon!

    Boxing > life.

Even though casimiro is taking those memo heredia shakes he still would get his @zz beat by the Monster! Casimiro is looking like a beast cause of the memo heredia shakes he takes.

I too would favour Inoue to beat Casimero, however he's got to actually do it in the ring.

Hopefully they will fight one day. Provided that Inoue's eye is OK, I'd pick him to take Casimero out of there within three rounds.
