One of the most loved fighters of the comment era was mike tyson, a man who was convicted of sexual assault, who beat up Mitch Blood Green at a haberdashery, told another fighter he’d eat his kids, etc etc.
The Charlos haven’t done any of that....

Jermell that fell in head first into his opponent off balance more than once without landing anything is more skilled, interesting. Like you said Jermell seemed scared yet that's who you say has more skills?!

You don't have to like the guys to recognize/see a major improvement in Jermall. Look at how messed up Derevyanchenko was at the end of the fight...that's not from running into walls all night long.
Ggg and Derev are similar size and stature. Jermall is 4-5 inches taller and equal length advantage. No reason why a much shorter guy should be able to out jab you at any point in the fight. It is not like Chenko has great foot work like Ggg to get in or the iron chin to walk through the punches.

Ggg is the type of fighter who will sit in front of you and trade he is not afraid to trade. I saw none of that from Jermall on Saturday night so of course Chenko would give Ggg a better test.

In my eyes Jermell has more skills than his bigger brother. Neither one has good defence. How many times did we see Jermell clinch up or just turtle up and bend over? I never said I dislike Jermall, I think he has some great positives. I just think to call himself the best at 160 after his first real test at that weight is a bit much. He still needs to prove himself against at least half of the top guys before he can start to claim that.

When/if he goes up against Andrade we will see how well he does against someone who is a better boxer with much better defense. Jermall does not set up his punches good enough to fight a slick boxer like Andrade. Ggg is a much better body puncher and I think he would give Jermall a good test to see how well his chin truly is. Even if Jermall beat Ggg he would have to do it convincingly and I doubt he would be landing better Jabs.

When Tyson was doing all that crazy talk, I couldn't stand him either, but I wouldn't miss one of his fights. Mike Tyson went went to reform school for his criminal activities. Then he went to prison for the **** as an adult, he lost 3 or 4 years of his boxing career for that offense. He is beloved just like George Foreman is because they reformed from their angry old selves, that's exactly my point. Life had a way of humbling them, and they realized that if they didn't change they would destroy themselves.

Maybe the old Bhop. Before he became a amateur philosopher who talks for ten minutes literally without saying anything of any substance at all. Give me the Charlos any day.

Stop it. The clowns didn't like Ward either. We know what it is. Just stop.

Do you think it's weak because any of the top guys could beat each other on any given night? Is it because there isn't a dominant champion?

It's funny because whenever there is a guy who is head and shoulders over everyone else, most people say he's fighting in a weak era

Then when there is depth as far as evenly matched talent, most people still say it's a weak era.

With that said, I'm just curious to know why you think the current 154 lb division is weak

are people not allowed to express opinions on each fighter? Like ward for example, there are reasons why people may not like him, legit reasons too, same with all fighters, i don't think u can throw them all in together all the time, sometimes maybe but most people, no

They’re very good, nothing special that hasn’t been seen before but obviously they both hit harder than theY appear and their mental toughness is at a very high level

Jermall will have it easy at 160, his only competition is Demetrius Andrade -- I dont consider Saul Alvarez a active middleweight, since 'Canelo' moved up, the lineage should be open for Jermall and maybe that bum Gennady Golovkin, who is only at #1. because the judges gifted him a victory over Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Bring on that geezer 'Triple-Duck' and Jermall will put on another masterful performance.
Didn't Alvarez relinquish his LHW belt and go back down to MW? He beat a shot Kovalev, but he would never face the top, prime Beterbiev.
