I'm halfway done with my physical therapy doctorates program. I've taken more anatomy and physiology classes than I couldn't even care to count. The only organs where he got hit are his large and small intestines. Everything else if roughly above his belly button. Only thing that I could imagine is that the hit caused his abdominal muscles to cramp up and forcefully contract. I've personally never seen or heard of that happening from a bit,but who knows at this point.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is a hernia there.

Rosario, a former world champion would know the diff of just having the wind knocked out of him and wouldnt be seeking medical attention.

I’ve had the wind knocked out of me with punches and falls, and never did I go unto a full convulsion. I’ve also been hit in that area plenty and you feel it more in the groin area. Not so much a wind thing at all...

Watch him gasp for breath again and his contractions are direct opposite of his exhale and inhale. Typical sign of having the wind knocked out of you. However you could be most correct as well.

Couldn’t you get a cramp anywhere? I know when I get a bad cramp it stops me dead in my tracks with whatever it is I’m doing. That would probably be it then.

He does hit harder, not because he has more power but because he actually sits on his punches ever since he moved to Derick James.

Mall doesn't sit on his punches at all, he doesn't know how to. Ronnie Shields doesnt know how to teach that.

When Mall inevitably loses a decision, it will be because of the style and strategy that he has been taught, not for lack of talent or lack of power.

Also, the Charlos head hunt too much. With their power, they could really do some serious damage if they invested more on the body.

Yeah, it's not an unheard of phenomena. Was turning out to be a good fight, but all it takes is for a punch to land in the right place at the right time and it can change everything.
