Id rather listen to Paulie over almost anyone, Roy is a close second. I will say I always like Geroge Foreman because he would say some **** that made you sit there and try and decipher it.

I agree , but Big George was a huge homer if he liked a fighter. Not always a bad thing I was a huge TITO fan , George always made him seem like the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I always see Foreman listed as amongst the worst - but I think you summed it up ...I remembered how worked up he would get about Oscar's footwork "ahhh Oscar's on his feet now, on the toes, he's on his feet Larry, looking to punch!" - when I was young fan, I wasn't always looking at the fighters' feet, just the punches so I remember that distinctly as one of the first times I started to pay attention to footwork. He did say some crazy ***** too though

Im old as hell so I could understand what his country ass (Im country too) was trying to say most of the time but sometimes Id have to stop for a minute. He was a lot of fun to me. A good color commentator is just an added bonus to me. I dont need them to tell me whats going on, I can see it but if what they say is interesting it makes the fight better.,

Lol, he was but I loved him. One of the highlights of my boxing fandom was him knocking out Michael Moorer to win the HW title. I told my cousin as the fight was happening that George wasnt punching all the way through when he did throw and then it got to the point that I just wanted him to make it all the way. Then he finally dropped the hammer and the mfin roof came off my moms house. We had to watch it there and pay her back because we were young and broke. She came running out of her room thinking we were killing each other. Such a good memory.
