Not every close fight is a robbery.

I picked Chenko to win, and what did he do? Did the same exact mistake of starting slow, and let the other guy bank the rounds faster.

I had it 7-5 Charlo. Good test for Charlo to see where he is at. Similar to the Jacobs fight.

This site definitely didn't score it like the majority. I haven't seen anyone outside of NSB that scored it for SD.

Most had it 8-4 Charlo or wider.

Fight wasn't even close mate. Chenko got taken to boxing class and was hurt in at least half the rounds.

Charlo seems to have put on too much muscle though. He looked heavy and larthagic. Didn't seem to have the energy to go for the kill when he had Chenko hurt, probably because he was so heavy.

The pandemic might also have something to do with that though. Both guys seemed to gas at some point and I ain't never seen either of them gassed before.

That is because we have people on this site that score fights based on who they like, who is promoting the fight, or the race/ ethnicity/ nationality of the fighters.

Worse is the fact that there are many posters who have decided the fight is fixed the second the fight is announced. So no matter what actually happens in the ring you know they are going to score the fight in a way that they can later make a thread saying, “ see I told you so a fix”.

Think about it- this is supposed to be the premier site for boxing fans. Yet we have posters that argue about counting jabs as if they are not scoring punches.

This never used to be this bad.

Charlo won. Nobody looks very good fighting Derevyanchenko.

Not a robbery, but definitely not a convincing win. Add to the fact that 118-110 was a ridiculous scorecard
