Can Jermall Charlo beat Canelo?

Jermall has shown tonight that he is a level above GGG and Danny Jacobs but does he have enough in the tank to beat Canelo?

Firstly I don't think he showed that he is a level above anyone. He showed that he is at around that same level as the best in the division.

Secondly, GGG already beat Canelo and got robbed by the judges. So if you think Charlo is better than GGG, why are you even asking if he could beat Canelo?

If Charlo is a level above GGG, you'd assume that he would beat Canelo more clearly than GGG did - with the usual considerations being necessary about styles making fights etc.

Anything can happen - personally, I don't think he would beat Canelo...but it would be an action fight I think. I doubt it will happen, but it's gotta be one of the more marketable fights out there for Canelo. Jermall keeps up with the respectable opponents and I think it could turn into a good event, garnering mainstream appeal

He definitely has a chance. I thought if Jacobs had a higher boxing IQ & was a rougher dude he could a eeked out the W. I think Mall has some sh^t going for him that Jacobs didnt. I'd probably still favor Canelo, but it's probably 60/40 Canelo, maybe 70/30 worse case for Mall.

I'd say yes. Charlo's heart and grit was impressive tonight. I think Canelo is at the tail end of his career.
