Well, let's tell it like it is.

Jacobs and GGG fought competitive fights against Canelo.

Jacobs and GGG fought VERY competitive fights with Derevyanchanko.

Charlo beat Derevyanchanko easier than either Danny and Gennady.

Maybe it was that Sergiy was worn down from those other wars...but what's clear now is that Charlo deserves a crack at Canelo.

This only really washes for GGG. I agree with your conclusion but not fully with your path in arriving there

its a very good clash of the styles. Thats charlos best bet is to hope jacobs fights him get a couple of the younger guys like boo boo and move up. Golvikin is not gonna fight him at all and I doubt canelo ether.
