The sport of boxing was literally created to entertain crowds of people. Sports are for entertainment. Boxing was not created to mimic a public library.

So “nobody is here to entertain your weak ass” is false. Promoters invest in a fighter based on if they think they can make them money because fans want to watch them...because they’re entertaining to watch in some way.

No one is saying Derv is a bad win, but it’s an actual fact that within the last two years, GGG and Danny have beaten him.

And as for Jacobs - Danny has been a legitimate champ who has also beaten a champ at the class before with some people thinking he beat GGG (I do not agree with these people mind you). Those were good wins for both GGG and Canelo since Jacobs was considered the next best after GGG. 1, 2, and 3 were clearly those three. BJS had a say but we all know what happened there.

Canelo and GGG are clear one and two. As for three and up, pick your preferred over Andrade or Mall or whoever since Danny doesnt really count anymore. I might lean Mall over Andrade since I like koro and Derv way better than what Andrade has done (not his fault BJS popped and wasn't able to fight him.)

I’m not saying Mall is better than Andrade, but I do prefer his Derv and Korobov wins over Andrade’s wins. And something in me tells me that Andrade’s chin wouldnt hold up against them in a fight so. There we go.

And if you think Lara won his fight against Canelo and Canelo lost his first fight GGG, you’re hating and there’s a horrible double standard being shown.

You can call mall a 2 div champ all you want, but it still doesnt change the fact he has yet to fight a champ and did not get his title by beating a champ. It’s the literal def of a paper champ. That’s not a knock on Mall’s skills, but more so a reality of the division. Everyone knows that really, Canelo is the champ
He didn't get his belt by fighting a champ, because the champ he was mandatory for, petitioned the sanctioning body so that he didn't have to fight him!

That would explain Mall turning those ten mil down?

While Mall was out here fighting Centeno, Hogan, Adams, etc, Everyone else was out fighting each other and Canelo was out here beating the legitimate champions in the division and managed to secure two other titles in two other divisions. Canelo was ALREADY the WBC champ, he wasnt getting any closer to unifying by fighting some dude for the interim version of his title. Mall was a legitimate step backwards.

Sell that narrative to anyone else because everyone of note made themselves available to each other except one single person who decided to stay on another network despite knowing there wasnt a SINGLE champion there.

If you think the problem is Danny, GGG, Canelo, Andrade...I’ve got news for you. With the exception of Andrade, they’ve all fought better. If Mall wants to be a lion in an enclosure, that’s fine. Everyone knows that he’s essentially a substitute wbc champ until he proves otherwise. If you honestly think anyone wanted to see Canelo vs Mall over Canelo vs GGG or Danny...yikes.

Not just that, but if a career high offer is made and if it’s declined, it speaks for itself.

This isn’t to say Mall himself is ducking anyone, but his team smartly kept him away from the “network” and the elite fighters that are/were at 160 because he hasn’t shown in any single fight he’s been in that he’d have beat Jacobs and much less GGG (though at this stage who knows) and Canelo.

Derv was a good fight but even *that* was leftovers twice over from the top guys. If you can’t admit that and really think anyone is out here avoiding, then lets agree to disagree.
