Some fighters just talk **** and others just sit back and handle their business. thats why ive always like Tszyu, Barrera, JCC, Cotto etc.
some peoplelike the **** talkers and others don't, and some fighters use it while others dont. as long ass you can back it up or swallow you words then its not a problem but i still prefer people who are confident but not ****s to thier opponents.
Rahman barley said anything.
He shouldnt be to blame for what his groupies say.
He talked a little trash, trying to hype the fight.
I dont get why everyone is on his ass.

i'm not critisizing him, i know a lt of fighters do it but im just saying i prefer guys who don't. I actually like Rahman but i was never too optimistic on what he could do. On that subject i respect James Toney's great skill and ability to fight much bigger guys but i hoped rahman would have whooped his ass but rahman did no such thing. I'm not sure peter can do it either but we'll see.
I agree with those defending Rahman- and I don't care for the man nor was I rooting for him. Still, I have always found Hasim to be one of the least ****y heavyweights, who ran his mouth less than others, and this fight seemed no different. He spoke confidently in a way that boxers do, but the schmuck at the weigh-in was not his doing. If it was one of his groupies and he let it happen- that was tasteless- but nothing I saw proved that, either.

I'm a fairly placid man and I rarely get angry but if someone was making such an ass of themselves at my weigh-in I would do something about it. And I mean if I was Rahman.
The sheer ignorence and disrespect would lead to a ***** slap and a STFU right then and there. If Rahman wants to trash talk that's fine. It's his fight. But some little ***** hanger-on trying to make the event about himself would be put down and dropped from the gang by me.
I thing there should be a Maskaev-Mouthy **** fight a week after the Rahman fight. Now that WOULD be worth PPV.

I agree, but I wouldn't be suprised if that was a friend of Rahman.
I don't know what you all got your panties in a twist over. Rahman didn't talk anymore **** than your average fighter does. He just kept saying what he had to do, but when fight time rolled around, for whatever reason, he didn't go for that KO like he promised, so he lost. He owned himself maybe, but he didn't talk enough **** to have to eat his words. His hype man was talking all the trash. Maybe it's a lot of trash talking considering our 4 champs right now are the 4 quietest of all time and don't know how to talk trash. We have 4 gentlemen for champs, so if you like that, well, you must be a ****. James Toney can totally steal the show right now as the only voice in a division of mindless, no opinion, drones.
lol, that video is pretty funny... rock didnt do a lot of talking beofre this fight(how can u when the guy knocked you out the ring), but he has been known for trash talking in the past...
