Sorry, but if that is Yoka at his best, then I don't even think he is a match for Dubois or Joyce. That performance was pathetic against a guy just coming to be a punching bag.

Anyone can load up on someone who is not throwing anything back.

The Breakdown



^ Just seconds before this clip Tony and Johann are trading jabs ; Yoka initiated the exchange from the opening bell with a jab downstairs ( this is important ), Yoka anticipates that a jab is going to be returned by what has been reciprocated and has felt the velocity of Duhuapas stiff jab.

This is all Tony needs to read Johann's next move and anticipates a jab as a response. Yoka keeps a high-guard from mid-range and subtlety takes a step inside and slips the oncoming jab from Duhauaps.



Tony returns to the jab downstairs and pins Duhaupas arms by smothering, Johann response with the left-hand ( second time ) and tries to swat Yoka's right hand. Yoka sees that Johanna's right hand is not active and firmly placed to guard the right side -- perhaps Johann is one of those boxers that needs to get the jab going before he introduces the right hand into combat.

Yoka then changes the angle of his attack to get around Johann's high-guard by coming around with a wide right-hand that catches Duhaupas flush.

Notice the brilliance of Tony Yoka, he immediately hits Duhaupas on the left arm ; Tony did not loose control and tried to follow his attack on the same area that he just scored on, Yoka tried to bring Duhaupas guard down before firing upstairs again.

This outstanding performance showed off Yoka's deep understanding of the sweet-science. There are not many HW's that have this kind of talent, too bad Yoka is a glass-jaw hoe.

That was sad & pathetic, that kid needs a warm body to fight, Duhaupas looked like a corpse.
Yoka really needs some rounds with anybody decent to get some experience, the first time he gets cracked by a quality opponent he's gonna implode.

Well, either Duhaupas' very solid tough-man chin is gone, or Yoka can ****. He did not even really let Duhaupas fire off anything significant, so good on him.

They could have let the fight go on a bit, but it'd probably be more of the same. It'd be interesting to see Yoka matched with someone closer to his age, though, hahaha. No shortage of prospects at heavy right now, though it's a shame the matchmakers seem to be trying to avoid putting them on collision course for the most part.
