Comments Thread For: Nestor Bravo Decisions Jose Luis Gallegos Over Ten Rounds

Nestor Bravo survived his stiffest test to date to remain unbeaten, though failing to improve his fighting stock in the process. A pair of point deductions for excessive holding provided anxious moments for the Puerto Rican lightweight, who managed to outpoint Jose Luis Gallegos over 10 rounds Wednesday evening at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Bravo needs to go back to the drawing board he has some talent but as of now he should stick to Romero Duno , Hank Lundy, Carlos Morales type fighters otherwise he taking an L . Pasillas on the underhand looked great tonight , I'm sure he made plenty of new fans

Bravo did win the fight on points, but he didn't impress PBC, or the fans. He was also in danger of losing the fight on points, or by disqualification. The referee was really on him for his low blows, and holding. Bravo should have his people set up a rematch in order to prove he is clearly the better fighter. I mean even the commentators weren't unhappy with Bravos antics. The Referee told Bravo to just shut up, and fight the rest of the rounds cleanly. As for the comparison to Kermit Cintron, kermit was one bad ass fighter back in his prime, but he ran into a Mexican cheat who defeated him with the aid of plaster in his gloves. Giving him both of his first 2 losses, and he did the same with Miguel Cotto giving him the first loss of his career. There is no telling how much better those 2 fighters would have been if they hadn't been damaged by taking such a beating under those illegal conditions. Margarito should have never been allowed to earn another dollar in the boxing ring after that. Emotions due run high when we suffer losses in life due to unfair practices. Luis Resto a Puerto Rican fighter was guilty of fighting with doctored gloves, was banned from boxing for life, the same should have happened to Antonio Margarito. So much for the knock on Kermit Cintron who was undefeated as was Miguel Cotto, and had a bright future's in boxing, until they ran into the criminal side of the sport.

This fight was hard to watch. Partially because I was half asleep while watching it, but also because of Bravos style. Man. I was hoping he would get KOed.

I get excited about a fighter when he meets an existing name commodity. FANS this hour miss on the EASY SCOPE of years gone. Ring used to have it right with their by weights winner first. Names kept narrowed and then...yes. read all about it in the Global
                reports. Whole names used.

What the hell was Jack doing

It looked as Jack Reese had a personal issue with Bravo, maybe 1 point but two was some B.S., they need to let him sit out for a few fights before refereeing again. He treated Bravo like a ******** while serving on Trumps administration.
