i dont disagree...but it is what it is...there arent many p4p rated guys who had a resume better than tanks at his age....

I'm talking more about boxing in general not specifically about Tank. I don't follow the fighters at the lighter weights that much which is something I'm going to change.

Most of the people on this forum now are beyond crazy! It is a shame what this forum has turned into but also too you have so called Boxing Writers/Reports who act just like a lot of guys on this forum on their Social Media which is even worse for the sport

Boxing Scene Forum hates EVERYBODY! Nobody in boxing is loved Universally on this Forum, every fighter gets some form of HATE because most of the people around here are Miserable

Nobody should be adored universally. That's absurd and impossible. We keep them relevant. If nobody is talking about you, negative or positive, you haven't made it, and basically don't count.

The sad reality is most cats would rather see "their guy" retire with a 30-0 record and face only marginal opposition than have them go 55-4 because they fought the best.

Why? Because the average new fan is only familiar with like 3 names or so of the last 20 years, Floyd, Oscar, Manny. Casuals are too ****** to understand how much of an aberration and outlier it is to retire undefeated and have any lasting legacy, so they have ridiculous and unrealistic standards and expectations.

Some of us have been watching boxing for longer than 2 years and we understand that most legends and ATG have lost, and have challenged the best around, and a fighter is unanimously praised more when he loses to elite opposition than when he avoids it altogether.

These same type of people ask the wrong questions. They ask "how long can my guy go unbeaten" or " how much money can they make" or "how popular are they", instead of "I wonder how he can do against this guy" or "I want to see if he can upset the champion".

theres the type...there in the boots ennis post from the other day...the article that says hes entering "WW title contention"...not "p4p status" or anything like that....hes 23 with a thin resume....i get it...but the article wasnt lauding him as the next superstar in boxing or anything....and theres a bunch of people hating and pointing to him not beating anyone of note or special....

i think everyone is aware he hasnt beaten anyone noteworthy or special yet......

if i take the current top 20 p4p id say 85 percent of them hadnt fought, let alone beaten, anyone worth a lick at 23...

i get it...tank davis has been thrown in your face...hes headlining cards...hes selling out shows in multiple cities...hes doing main support to a floyd ppv that does over 2 million buys

hes 25 and is about to do his first ppv(as a headliner)..against a guy generally regarded as a top 20 p4p guy...and basically tanks resume has already been trashed...and the same people are already shooting down LSC as an opponent ahead of time in order to discredit this fight

yet you cant find many in the top 20 p4p who were headlining their own ppv at tanks age or even fighting a guy as good as LSC at that time in their careers...tank has plenty of time to start building a resume starting right now....yet some of you are pissed off he didnt fight lomachenko 2 years ago!!!! wild!!! unreal!!!

there is a 23 year old guy who has been calling chenko out for a lil bit now....and a guy who wants to fight him....his name is....well we all know his name

what does the same group of people do?
