Postol beat Matthysse, then Matthysse retired. That’s why Crawford fought Postol instead. Matthysse and then Molina beat Provodnikov, why Crawford fought Molina.

Another thing about Crawford, he’s just not that accurate as a puncher. He’s not consistent at creating openings. Loma and Canelo are currently the only two boxers are who are good at luring/baiting their opponents to open up to create counter-punching opportunities. Crawford can outfight his way by bullying his opponents, but there’s nothing captivating about his style that makes you go “Damn, this guy is a once in a lifetime type of talent”

You are a straight up liar! Haha.

Matthys and Provodnikov were the top 2 ranked guys for the wbo. but bum crawford decided to fight dulorme for the vacant belt instead.

Crawford is too small for 154lbs, at least for a fight with Charlo anyway who is currently the best in the division. Besides, he has far too much business to attend to at 147lbs and given how infrequently he fights he'll likely be retired before anyone's clamouring to see him move up again.

The only way I see him fighting at 154lbs is if the Spence fight gets made there, which I would have no problem with.

crawford will get massacre. he is exposed. why dont people understand that? look at his last fight, seems like he's declining now. that's the cost for ducking and fighting bums. couple of years been wasted..

Spence having balls to fight at 154 would be moving up 1 weight division from his debut weight. Are you saying Crawford hasn't done this?

Crawford should test the waters at 154 by fighting Teixiera getting that 4th weight class title and then see what happens. By that time maybe Manny or Spence or somebody at 147 is ready to fight and if he's comfortable at 54 then a fight undisputed at 154 would be big PPV. Charlo could fight Hurd in the meantime. While big bro fights Andrade at 160. Put it all on PPV as card

Could he hold up to the shots Harrison took at the end of that rematch...nah probably not. But, I also don't think Crawford would have a complete collapse like that after controlling large portions of the fight, as Harrison has done before in other fights.

And even though I've always thought that Crawford "feels" vulnerable whether it be his frame, that he gets squared up at times, or just because he likes to trade and take risks..... at this point, I'm willing to sit here and say he would be more durable than Rosario and Julian Williams. Damn right. There isn't going to be a jab to the body KO in this fight
