Comments Thread For: Usyk vs. Chisora Confirmed For October 31

Ukrainian pound-for-pound star Oleksandr Usyk will finally face British favourite Derek Chisora on Saturday October 31, live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and DAZN in the US, after their original May 23 date was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) made the move to Heavyweight after dominating at Cruiserweight, ending his extraordinary spell at 200lbs as the Undisputed king with a phenomenal run of victories in his opponents' backyard against Marco Huck, Mairis Briedis, Murat Gassiev and Tony Bellew.

Hopefully Usyk doesn't get hurt again in training. The dude is getting more and more brittle.

Nice. Usyk can't lose that fight. Should help get him acclimated to heavyweight fornhisntitle shot.

That’s if Usyk doesn’t pull out while faking another injury.

This should finally settle whether Usyk's a viable heavyweight contender or not. Personally I'm still sceptical.

Chisora is a real HW and very durable - good test for Usyk.

I seriously been waiting on this for at least a year and a half now or something like that. Super interesting fight.

Nah not totally, the issue of height and reach disadvantages hasn't been broached yet either.
