Comments Thread For: Jeison Rosario: This Fight Can Be The One To Define My Legacy

In a year where most in the sport are happy to get in one fight, Jeison Rosario is the unique position of picking up a second straight career defining win. Of course, there isn't any guarantee that he emerges victorious in his lineal junior middleweight championship showdown versus Jermell Charlo this weekend. Should he do so, however, then 2020 will have its leading candidate for Fighter of the Year.

      I’d say a 5th round stoppage

Jeison Rosario, what will remain in the minds of boxing historians is your upset victory over one-hit-wonder, glass-jaw 'J-Rock'. The jr. middleweight lineage is Jermell's come Saturday, a new order begins!

And by the way, I just went over to TBRB to check their jr. middleweight rankings, and what a surprise, Jermell is at #.4 below Julian Williams and Jarret Hurd. But the RING and ESPN got it right : Jermell is #1. and Rosario is #2.

According to TBRB, Jeison Rosario has to KO J-Rock again to become lineal, what a bunch of clowns! Thats dat goofy-shyte! I'm auctioning off your asses! Shots fired! Remember my name! 1hourRun! sh0ts-sh0ts-sh0ts brrrrraaaat!

Lol. Spend to much to much time on these forums brodie. Oddly enough, that glass-jawed J-Rock is as good a win, if not, better than Charlo's over another chinny guy in Harrison. Other than that, Charlo's resume is pretty thin on
world level competition. Especially for guy who's been at the world level this long. I agree that Charlo and Rosario are 1 and 2, respectively atm though.

Jermell has been getting held back from taking over 154 because of Jermall, now that big-bro moved up to takeover 160, you will see Jermell 'Ironman' Charlo transform into 'WAR-MACHINE'.

Twin barreled cannon is pointing at you Jeison Rosario!

Jermall left the division 3 years ago though and he hasn't done much either. His most notable win is also J-Rock like Rosario and that was almost 4 years ago. Other than Korobov(whom some thought won their scrap), he's fought nothing but lesser guys. Both Charlos are in for the stiffest tests of their careers on the biggest platform of their careers and can possibly put a P4P stamp on themselves with impressive showings. Rosario and Derevyanchenko are very live underdogs and credit should be given to the winner of both fights.

The champs at 154 have been ducking Jermell 'Ironman' Charlo. I remember Mell confronting Jarrett Hurd for being a chicken, in the ring, after Hurds tune-up with Jason Welborn.

So I feel like I should take a fight with Lara before I go with Jermell Charlo.”
All these upsets in the jr. middleweight division : Hurd vs. J-Rock, J-Rock vs. Rosario, Charlo vs. Harrison has only delayed the inevitable, they cant stop 'Ironman'! #lionsonly
