I don`t know why managers pretend like Joshua -Pulev, Dubois -Joyce and Fury -Wilder 3 are like some superfights. This fights should just be made right now, so that we can move forward.Comment

They need to be the only boxing event to host fans?Sure, we may not care, but Joshua's live gates produce a lot of money. Hearn would be foolish to not try to maximize the gate revenue for this fight.
The issue is right now may be the best time to put the fight on with fans in the UK. Like previously mentioned, waiting until winter time with the flu going around, it's going to cause even a bigger issue as people will not know if they have the flu or Covid-19. The virus may spread faster during that time as well.Comment

There is a lot of hindsight yes. I'm a big AJ fan and don't find Eddie too bad. But I've followed Eddie's quotes on dates the past year and it's becoming increasingly clear what games he plays and that you can't take what he says too seriously.I don't entirely disagree with you, but there's an element of hindsight to your comments. Until recently, the UK were indicating the possibility of crowds later in the year, and Eddie holding out hopes for that was understandable. He took a punt, it didnt play out.
There's also a big difference in the economic dynamics of UFC vs Eddie's events with AJ. UFC fighters are paid small enough amounts that the lack of crowd isn't such an issue.
Ultimately greed lead Hearn and AJ hoping for the best and a packed ish stadium still. But it's not looked likely for awhile. Get your boxer out. He's in his prime and slipping more than a few months will cost money and possibly jeapordise a big unification fight being able to be worked out.Comment

Yeah, I see the sense in what you're saying, given the situation now seems to be worsening. There is a lot of hindsight yes. I'm a big AJ fan and don't find Eddie too bad.
