Nestor Bravo is not looking too far ahead as to where his pro career will head. Instead, each fight is just as important, even though he is the favorite going in. Bravo will square off against Jose Luis Gallegos Wednesday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The 10-round lightweight bout will headline a three-bout FS1 PBC Fight Night' telecast (10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT).

This will be the first time I'll be seeing Nestor Bravo in action. He has a decent professional record, and won some significant fights in the amateurs. He beat Felix Verdejo, and Robson Conceicao the Brazilian 2016 gold medalist prior to the 2016 Olympics. He was supposed to represent Puerto Rico in those Olympics, but he broke his ankle, and Felix Verdejo consequently got the nod to replace him. That said I'm really looking forward to see how good he really is. Hopefully he scores an early knockout, and make's a good impression on PBC, and the fans. Then try to possibly get in another fight before the end of the year improving his record to 20-0. Then another two, or three wins in 2021, against top opposition to set him up for a title shot. They have some really good fighters, and champions in the lightweight division, so he has his work cut out for him.
