I was so impressed by that performance. Was hoping Canelo would stay for a Beterbiev fight at 175 but you can tell he's not so keen.
Artur has a really nuanced skillset and he definitely doesn’t get the credit he deserves. The blocking, sneaky head movement, use of his shoulder, staying in range even after exchanges, accuracy/shot selection, deceptive bursts of foot and hand speed (obviously not roy jones esque, but he definitely has moments where he closes the distance quicker than his opps think he can and lands softer quicker punches to surprise and ambush).

But, like you said, Bivol exists. At CW, there was no one who seemed close enough like Bivol to Beterbiev for Usyk.

Ironically, Usyk beat Artur a few times in the amateurs at HW if im not mistaken.

And Canelo is better than Artur but Artur is too much man for Canelo (size-strength wise). Artur is too good to have that kind of advantage. He’d hurt that boy.

That is an excellent breakdown of Artur's skills. I also think getting dropped by Callum Johnson (2 fights ago?) checked his slight recklessness when he unloads inside, which was one of his few weaknesses.
I do agree that Canelo is p4p an all round better fighter, not by a huge amount, but at LHW Beterbiev would beast him. Still want to see that fight quite badly.
Usyk did beat Art at HW but the 17 - 13 (twice) ain't too shabby when you consider HW is a lot closer to the 6' 3 Usyk's natural size. In truth, you can barely get a cigarette paper between the two in terms of p4p status.
My fear: Artur is 35 with maybe 3 years left and we'll probably not get to see all his *relevant* fights which would be tragic.
