Billy Joe Saunders leaves Ben Davison for Mark Tibbs

Seems like Billy Joe has gone to train with Mark Tibbs and stopped working with Ben Davison.

I’m a big fan of Saunders ability in the ring but the guy has now had three trainers since he last fought.

Obviously Jimmy Tibbs trained Saunders and knows him best, so maybe him being back where he had most success will be good for him.

Obviously Covid hasn’t helped matters but I would like to see him just settle and become an active fighter because he is very good. He’s 30 now, So he still has time to have a decent run if he gets active, but it passes quickly.

I’m actually a big fan of the way Canelo fights and love to see him fight. I just don’t think he beat GGG, like the majority also think, but it doesn’t mean he’s not an excellent fighter, because he’s one of the best in the world p4p.

I never downplayed his skills. I just speak the truth that he is not a big star anywhere outside of USA and Mexico and he didn’t beat GGG.

I also lost a bit of respect for him that he takes dubious wins and doesn’t do rematches. He should’ve fought Lara and GGG again because many people felt he didn’t win.

Either way, it’s nice to know that you keep an eye on my activity and know my posts because I’ve never heard of you before this thread

So when is the cherry picker going to fight a good fighter for a change? The last good fighter he fought was Lemieux about three years ago. He was gifted the vacant WBO 168 pound world title for beating a mediocre guy most never heard of and defended his title against two other mediocre fighters most never heard of. he is not getting the Canelo fight so fight Callum Smith or Jacobs or Andrade and quit cherry picking FFS.
