It could be a marketing ploy to announce the fight late.

Why it's Jonny Tyler, you madcap... I'm sorry Jonny but Fury turning down big money "to get the belt he never had" is a silly fairy-tale. If the WBC forces Fury to fight his mandatory Fury will drop that trash belt in a New York minute.

Lol I love how this man being rated the best HW in the world has caused you to have a mental breakdown.
Fury fought Wilder for the same reason AJ and Whyte wanted to fight Wilder...he simply has no skills. Don't over complicate it.

Neither are capable of pulling off such a marketing ploy.

The truth is that they need the ticket sales to cover costs. The PPV isn't enough and the mysterious back end money turned out to be hats and tee-shirt sales.

Sorry to say it but Wilder was only a mega draw in the minds of dontaboxing, blueblood and Mayor Tootles in Neverland.

Announce the fight late 'People's excitement will spike'.

The fight will do well 'It will sell out in a 2 weeks maximum'.

Jonny tyler? Sorry I do not follow where you are going with that. Are you saying that Fury never holding that belt previously is a a "fairy tale" the Wilder fight paid him handsomely and didn't try and tie him to fighting exclusively on one network, which they also tried to do to Wilder. Look at what DAZN did to Canelo, GGG and Andrade. Dodged a bullet there.

Fury fought Wilder for the same reason AJ and Whyte wanted to fight Wilder...he simply has no skills. Don't over complicate it.
AJ and Whyte never did it though did they? Now Fury holds the honor of being the only man to beat Wilder and hold every single belt in the division. Something AJ never did and Whyte never even sniffed. Instead got starched by a 40 year old and the other by a fat kid. Sit your dumb a$$ down FactsAreNotHere.

Never a dull moment when Fury comes out with something, I say if this fight is ever made then great we can then see who is the better fighter...

I give Fury the edge in the fight unless Joshua some how pressurizes him for 12 rounds constantly...
