He quit against Beterbiev, but he won’t get criticized for it.

Probably saw Joe Smith pick up a title and instantly said “here’s my chance”

Easily the 2nd best at LHW behind Beterbiev. I said it before that he would likely return and if he does, he should get back with team Lomachenko. Teddy coached him well for the Beterbiev fight, stylistically it went exactly as I thought it would go and they fought just how they needed to. Unfortunately for Gvozdyk, Beterbiev fought like a man possessed that night and took some insane shots but just kept coming. If they fought 100 times, Gvozdyk would put on a clinic for the first 5 rounds or so and look a million bucks every time doing it, but if he doesn't get Beterbiev out of there then it will be a very brutal fight.

He definitely has what it takes to beat Beterbiev, he showed that in the fight, and I think his best chances at doing so would be to go to a great team and surround himself with the people Loma surrounds himself with.

          Bivol is better than both.

Beterbiev would just end his career for good the second time around.

Gvozdyk is outmatched there, people were very generously giving him rounds in that fight, there were some close ones but Beterbiev was in control almost the entire time.

Should be able to outbox Joe Smith Jr and pick up another title though.

Gvozdyk has no heart. Shouldn’t, but when you need the money.
