You guys are hating but there's nothing wrong with this they are trying to build up the sport in a region that hasn't produced many champions what's wrong with that? More competition and possibility of getting some of these youth into boxing and give them a way out. Whether you like Amir or not he is a philanthropist and he truly likes to help he should be good for the position as it seems his boxing career is nearing its end.Comment

Am sure the fact that he is a ****** plays a part, because he isn’t of Middle Eastern descent. He already does a lot for Pakistan in trying to develop boxing there, if he can do the same in other ****** countries in the Middle East then more power to him. It doesn’t affect me, but it’s hilarious to see the crying by some hereComment

"I witnessed my dear late father, José Sulaimán, the Lifetime President of the WBC, express to Amir his dream of developing boxing in the Middle East. My father, son of Lebanese father and Syrian mother, recognized the potential of that region". So is Sulaiman saying that his father was full-blood Lebanese?Comment
