Laszlo Papp a 5'5" southpaw middleweight, had 56 1st rd KOs, but had over 300 fights. He was nearly 32 when he turned pro and must have started boxing in his mid to late teens. He was more interested in soccer. In the ring, he was like bull terrier.

He was the first to ever win 3 Gold Medals; had 13 Olympic fights and lost only a single round total. including 6 KOs. He had brittle hands from the very beginning and all through his amateur and pro careers.
20 years later, the great Cuban Heavyweight Teofilo Stevenson was the next to win 3 medals so for 20 years Papp was out on his own..

The Hearntards get so hyped when Eddie signs some obscure female champion, what they don't get is that they're forced to go this route because Top Rank keeps signing most of the top American male amateurs. Matchroom's American takeover has completely stagnated and Hearn's had to retreat back to the UK.
