  • Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo: I Don't Want Judges To Make Decision For Me Against Rosario

The last time Jermell Charlo allowed one of his fights to reach the scorecards, he suffered the lone loss of his 12-year, 34-fight pro career. That debatable defeat to Tony Harrison is why the WBC super welterweight champion is extremely motivated to continue taking matters into his own hands September 26. The Houston native doesn't want three judges to determine the outcome of his high-stakes, 154-pound title unification fight against Jeison Rosario.

Considering the judges had you up (somehow) in your last fight against Harrison; I don't see why not.

Lmfao a believer in what? They’re both protected frauds. Sounds more like Lions in the Camp.

Jermell, keep your heard on straight Bro and stay focused; Because this kid is very dangerous. He's coming to take what you got.

We could very well be witnessing another upset in the making if Charlo isn't focused by underestimating and overlooking Rosario.

Of course Charlo didnt want to give Harrison a rematch like Harrison gave Jermell.

Harrison was winning the rematch although "Lions" judges had Lionness ahead (somehow). Clean KO and stoppage though.

I expect both Charlo to look ordinary as they arent fighting their usual cab driver level of oppnent. Sadly both SHOULD win as theyll get a comfortable PBC judging panel. Whether the wins are deserved will be up for debate but neither of these guys are anything more than gatekeepers at the elite level.

Derev 100% needs a knockout to win, but it's possible. Charlo has only fought one decent middleweight (Korobov) and he took the fight on 10 days notice and won on everyones cards but the judges. We dont know how Charlos chin is at this weight. Ironic since he apparently wants to move up to 168 without having done a ****ing thing at 160
