Does Canelo have the best resume in boxing today?

What's the problem if it's not even for a belt?
Funny how if you don't like the guy you'll either say weight drained or weight bully...
Brook would of had a WAYYYYYYY better chance at beating GGG if it was like Khan/Canelo weight.
And I actually LIKE the IBF weight clause not allowing someone to bloom up 20-25 lbs same day. IT's DANGEROUS as well.
You're the only one I know who was upset about a guy coming up TWO weight classes and having a Saturday morning secondary weight check, with neither fighter can go above 185 pounds.
Light heavyweight 168–175 lbs (76.20 - 79.37 kg)
Cruiserweight 175–200 lbs (79.37 - 90.71 kg
CW fighting a MW. If you need more than 185 to fight a MW your fkn sad...
So was Kov needing to be a weight bully or weight drained??Last edited by Shadoww702; 09-18-2020, 09:31 AM.Comment

I never say weight bully. And I like the IBF rule too, except I think it should be a percentage and not ten pounds. It's ridiculous to think that a lightweight gaining 10lbs and a light heavyweight gaining 10lbs is the same advantage. What's the problem if it's not even for a belt?

Thats fair and I take it back. But almost every boxer outside Pac and Floyd are fighting 2 weight classes below normal. Some amaze me how they do it like Hurd???Comment

Hurd is crazy to me, I have no idea how he made weight. Munguia at 154 was another, but at least he was thinner. And yeah, it bothers me that so few guys are fighting in their natural divisions (and theyre always the smaller guys) Something needs to be done to prevent guys from draining down and getting brain damage just for an advantage.Comment

If Porter was given nod on every fight he lost via decision, he’s right up there as per quality win
Brook, Spence, Thurman, Ugas, Garcia
All primes
Think about thatComment

No clue what youre whining about.
I thought GGG won both fights 7-5 but thats boxing. First fight was definitely disputable but a draw was acceptable. Second fight was 7-5 either way or a draw depending on what you like.
Trout fight was decided by the KD and Lara fight was 7-5 either way or a draw.
Hydration clauses are Pacmans thing. Canelo might've used 1 or 2 when he was jumping weight classes but thats reasonable when youre fighting 2 weight classes above yourself against the defending champion coming off 2 wins and a KO against undefeated opponents.
Pacman used a rehydration clause against Margarito. It was hilarious. He didnt even let Margs use hand wraps either. What a joke of a fight XD XD XDComment

What?
Brook won clearly and so did Ugas.
Thurman and Spence and Garcia arent good at all. So called prime Thurman lost cleanly to a 42 year old Pacman. Humiliating. Younger Pac stops him.
Porter is a MMA/WWE fighterComment
