Russia hasn't been Communist for 30 odd years now. Plenty of countries don't trust Americans so to have both is a sensible move.

Sensible move to have Russian citizenship? Why? Russia is a police state with former KGB head ***** at the helm. It's a horrible country that keeps its people in financial and psychological bondage. Of course the rules are different for someone like Roy. I'm sure ***** rolls out the red carpet when he visits just like those fights in Saudi Arabia. All the fighters come back saying they don't know why Saudi gets a bad rap, they were treated like kings! They have to be pretty deluded to think they see the same Saudi Arabia that the regular citizens see.

Trump is already destroying the tech that he doesn't like, next it will the websites that disagree with him. Then the News Channels that dare to ask the wrong questions.

Most of that is absolute ****** territory as are the surrounding former USSR States (who will let you in with a Russian passport).

All he needs Is an Australian passport and he can disappear in either the American Wilderness in the West, the Russian Caucasus mountains in the East, or the Australian outback in the south.

Some of the old former Soviet States only deal with Russia, there are half a dozen "istans" that still rely on Russia and they are all around the Caucasus and endless ****** forests.
If you go to Belarus with a US passport you would more than likely be suspected of spying, with a Russian passport you would be welcomed.
You could have access to places like Iran, Iraq and several other countries with dubious regimes knowing that whoever tries to attack you is either sponsored by the USA or Russia and you have a passport for both.

It's always good to hedge your bets;-).
