I have been wrong about so much lately. I have made Lamon Brewster my second favorite current fighter, because i thought he reminds me of Holyfield, but after watching the fight last night with Holy/foreman, I came to the conclusion that I was wrong about that, and the state of the HW div. I have argued with a lot of people saying how good the div was and how great the recent fights have been. I was highly impressed with fights like Brock/McCline, and Thompson/Sultan. But after last night I realized that Brewster is nowhere even close to how great Holy was 15 years ago. Yes holy had a great chin, and heart, but his stamina, skill and power was just outstanding. Holy could work for 12 or 15 rounds and never get tired. And his fights where all out wars with no clinches. I was amazed to see how he preformed as well as foreman. I can’t see any HW today beating foreman back in 91. or even lasting 10 rounds with Holyfield. Don’t get me wrong I still like Brewster, but I have been over rating him. He is good enough to be champion today, but would only be a contender back in the 90’s
Boy was I wrong (HW div/Brewster)

No one is like Holyfield today. Don't you get me started on Holyfield
He maybe my favorite heavy of all time, a true warrior I just wish he would step away now .....Brewster ? it's to soon to put his name next to the greats. I don't understand why ppl jump the gun on some fighters.

i know, thats why i'm apologizing now, i Jumped the gun, i think it's because i'm so use to the Holy of 97-2005 and his older memories are starting to fade away. He maybe hurtin ghis legecy by continueing to fightOriginally posted by THE REAL NINJANo one is like Holyfield today. Don't you get me started on Holyfield

I like Brewster and I agree that he's a good fighter but I don't think of Holy when I see him . The way he fought Golota I thought of Tyson .But the way he fought Wlad maybe I could see a little of Holy in him ....I just will wait and see what he can do in the next few years if he can beat George the animal steel or Wlad for the title again and keep it for a little longer then he did the WBO then I will start to look at him Vs the greats .Originally posted by TheGreat1i know, thats why i'm apologizing now, i Jumped the gun, i think it's because i'm so use to the Holy of 97-2005 and his older memories are starting to fade away. 6'3 -6'4 should be about the norm today, it's just that the 6'7 + fighters stand out more . Then again when you see him next to Lewis you can tell the size dif. Foreman is really more around 6'3 3/4 even Bowe was taller but George was bigger over all.Originally posted by TheGreat1another thing i noticed is that George was 6'4 woul dhe be considered a smaller HW today?Comment
