Stop saying American when referencing United States.
America is a continent you idiots!
As a catracho/ Lenca Lopez is as American as tostones and casamiento. That’s Central American, Azul y Blanco con Tokyo culeros!
Lopez is already the first Honduran world Champ, by winning he would be the first Honduran unified world
Champ in boxing which is huge.
Carlos Hernandez was first Salvadoran world Champ but never unified.
All the points talking strategies and especially those mentioning Lomas chin and ability outclassing Lopez are on point.
I’ve always said Lopez would get outclassed, I predicted Commey to beat him. Loma is a true phenom, from the southpaw stance with boxing ability Lopez has never seen.
But 1 thing Loma can get touched and has never punched a fighter that punches as hard as Lopez. If you think Campbell hits harder? Go ahead and have a lobotomy and kill yourself because you shouldn’t reproduce.
Linares is a very small
Lightweight and he looked huge against Loma.
Lopez is gonna definitely be the biggest, fastest, strongest fighter he’s faced.

I think if Lomo stays out of harms way and doesn’t get caught, he wins a decision easily. I think he has more in his arsenal than Lopez. But I could be wrong. We can only go off what we have seen from both fighters to date and in their prior fights. And what we have all seen is that Lomo shows better overall skills In his fights and Lopez shows incredible punching power with some good skills also. I just have a feeling that Lopez is going to hurt Lomo and when he does, he will jump all over him. The million dollar question is does Lopez have a durable chin. Because until Lomo really gets caught, he will land early & often.Comment

Of course? If it was a given, why did they make it sound as if he was Honduran living and fighting out of Brooklyn? Is it so wrong to ask a journalist to proof read their articles? I will be the first to tell you that my grammar and punctuation is not great. I am also not a professional writer. If I am confused as to what they person is trying to say then that would imply that the writer is not doing a well enough job.
What does Honduras have anything to do with all Hispanics? So is he saying that all Hispanics are as delusional as he is? Is he saying that all Hispanics are brash, ****y, rude, disrespectful like him? He does not represent all Hispanics. 1. that is impossible to do because every country is different and in every country you have different types of people. 2. He would be among the last people I would want representing Hispanics.Comment

If you really think Lopez is that much of a harder hitter than Campbell you can easily just go and look at their records.
Lopez is (15-0) 12KOs
Campbell is (20-3) 16 KOs
The only matches where Campbell didn't get a KO are pretty much only the fights he lost.
So in every fight Campbell has won hes 17 wins with 16KOs.
That's better than Teofimo.

Compare their competition side by side and there isn't too big of a difference either. So to pretend that Teo is some monster Loma has never faced before is laughable.
Lopezs power? Way overrated.
His size? Also WAY overrated. Linares, Campbell, and Pedraza are easily bigger than Lopez. Not only are they taller but also longer. The only guy who is comparable is Crolla.
And nah man. I'm American we strictly refer to ourselves as American. We live in America, or the United States. To us its synonymous.Comment

Lopez is not the first Honduran world champion. There still have been NO Honduran world champions in boxing. Lopez was born and raised in Brooklyn, USA, brother. He's as American as anyone else from Brooklyn, whatever his parents' heritage may be. He fought in the Olympics for Honduras ONLY because he could not make the U.S. Olympic squad and because Honduras allows dual citizenship for their citizens' children born abroad. That is a fact that you may Google if you'd like. Lopez never gave a **** about Honduras until it was his only option to go to the Olympics. He was out in the first round of the tournament btw.
As far as people from the United States of America not being called Americans, what are you smoking? Did you think we were United Stateseans? Are you under the impression that Canadians and Mexicans identify as Americans, or for that matter, that the people from any country in Central or South America call themselves Americans? Nope, the whole world knows where Americans live. Peruvians do not call themselves Americans. Colombians say they are Colombians; not American, so on and so forth. We are Americans because that is the name the founding fathers chose for this great country; whether or not the greater continent shares the name.
