Tyson in 03 would have iced Jones.

Tyson lost to Danny Williams and Mcbride because they were fkking huge.

I believe he would’ve iced Jones, but he would’ve iced both Williams & McBride if he was that same ole’ prime Mike.

He trying to angle for more $ it sounds like to me. RJJ isn't a "oopsy made a boo boo" in signing a fight type of mfer even if he was 92 yrs old.

He very well could be angling for more money. But potentially getting knocked out by even this version of Mike is ****** if you ask me. Jones now has highlight reels of himself getting blasted, yet still he wants to potentially go out even worse than Martin when he fought Tommy Hearns? Lol!.....Roy ain’t makin’ sense after all that Gerald McCllenan talk he used to dish out on a regular.....All the CREAM in the world means nothing if u don’t got your faculties in order....

If this was a legit fight I might be more concerned about the things you are concerned with.

That said maybe Tyson is looking at RJJ like that lil kickboxer Floyd fought awhile back, but I just don't see it. Not too mention Tyson will probably be huffing & puffing by the 90 second mark if he does like these training videos are showing & RJJ will just pot shot Mike & do rooster tactics for 7.5 rounds.

I’m of the opinion Mike is gonna try to hurt Roy “if” Roy tries to play the young version of Ali pot shottin’ on Liston for fun - even if it’s just for four rounds.

Roy came out earlier during the promotion and pretty much said that Tyson never was able to last a full 12 rnds in his prime and that he was only good for the beginning of a fight. Roy said he would/would’ve beat him with his boxing skills...

I think Roys now rethinking his promotional smack talk. Why not stick with the jibes? Instead Roy’s now heaping praise? It’s because he knows Mike can heap devastating blows to his cranium that can lay him out for hours...

I believe (like all the good fighters who put in the hard work to become champion and that have entertained us) Mike will take umbrage to those initial comments when/if Roy starts teeing off on Mikes head.....

Mike is still a “bit” nuts and still has an ego. I see Mike taking this on another level “if” Roy uses Mike to play cute....just my thoughts....

Interesting take & it'd be naive of me to suggest that's not how Mike is looking at it.

I personally just think by fight time the realities of a real life fight is gonna be upon both guys & it will be less about kill or be killed like in both guys' prime. I guess we shall see either way doe.
