I don't see why any one of these fighters should be afraid of any of the others. They all have abundant weaknesses and obvious strengths, it's not like anyone has anything new to figure out in there.

The promoters don't want them to fight each other.

Juan Carlos Gomez stopped that guy, but it seems there is a prejudice against the cuban, he also beat SAM as easily too. He lost one fight, and it seems that people hang him for it, but others can lose or 4 and it doesn't mater apparently.

Juan Carlos Gomez looks very solid... I hope he gets his shot at the title in a year or so. He is way better than Briggs.

yeah that didnt sound accurate to me either, i wouldnt mind seeing gomez get his shot, id say he deserves it as much as maskaev. he just screwed himself though with the positive drug test.

If Klit decides to permanently retire Briggs what credit if any would he get? Plus I don't think the fight will sell. I mean a lot of hard core boxing fans like to see a comeback, but Klit is too tall an order for an aging Briggs.

Gomez is under a one year suspension from the German Federation but the result remained unchanged as the BDB feel itīs up to the WBC to change it. According to FightFax, Gomez is not under suspension in the US - and according to Fight Fax CEO Anibal Miramontes, the WBC do not have the right nor the power to change any results..
Looks like he is free to fight by the looks of it.

even so, gomez would have a hard enough getting a title shot as it is without attaching this kind of negative stigma. all the organizations need is an excuse (real or imagined) to give someone more popular with bigger name the shot.

obviously you see how people poke fun at paul750 for his signature all the time when in reality JCC does have as good a shot as many others. but nobody knows who the hell he is and he isnt really a true heavyweight so he gets no respect...
