  • Comments Thread For: Shawn Porter Expects To Fight The Winner of Spence-Garcia

As far as former two-time welterweight world titlist Shawn Porter knows, his next fight will be a rematch as well as a chance to kick off a third title reign. Porter told BoxingScene.com that he has been told by adviser and Premier Boxing Champions chief Al Haymon that he will get a shot at the winner of the much-anticipated fight between two-belt world titleholder Errol Spence Jr. and former welterweight and junior welterweight titlist Danny Garcia.

I'm getting confused now. One thread currently floating around says he's gonna go ahead and fight Bud bc he is the WBO mando.
He also wants the winner of Spence vs DSG.
Shawn you need to pick one... Hes playing the smart thing going after both imo.

If Spence wins, he'll have no choice but to fight Crawford, Pacquiao, or the IBF contender! Porter should rematch Ugas!

He "expects" to fight the winner of Spence/Garcia.

He "wants" to cash in mandatory on Crawford.

        Very easy distinction.

In other words, he thinks Crawford/Arum will duck out. And they probably will.

But the other point Spence said, is that he would be open to Porter AFTER Porter beat Crawford. That's an option too. That would allow Spence to fight Manny.

you mean they'll have no choice but to fight Spence. Pacquiao wants no part of him and T. Duckford with his A-side bat **** is a idiot.

How can the Lipinets fight be for a "vacant interim" IBF title? Isn't Spence IBF champ and he's defending it against Garcia?

So, if Spence beats Garcia, it's rematch with Porter then unification with Pacquiao/WBA at least before Crawford.

            Not a bad itinerary.

Would like to see Porter against Bud, just to see how Bud handles him compared to Brook, Thurman, Garcia and Spence.

Guess Porter wont be taking that WBO mandatory title shot like I had to read in that one thread. How many times do people need to say that Kenny Porter does not speak for Shawn Porter.

There you go. I'm sure PBC (Part-time Boxing Champs) now know what to do.
Same drill. Call out Crawford or any fighter outside the house
and Haymon would be prompted to do something for you.
Ugas got his the other week merely just invoking Bud's name,
and now Porter, who's been doing the same, is promised a rematch.
                  Works wonders.

Don't know why the others like Lipinets not do the same thing.
Call out someone outside of PBC and uncle Al would do his part.

Because the IBF are ready to strip Spence if he doesn't defend against the IBF interim champ next and elevate the interim to full champ. They don't **** around in their present day form. Ask Saul Alvarez
