This is the REAL problem with boxing. First off, it’s headlines like this article that push agendas to have gullibles create narratives that don’t make sense.

Reynoso said that they didn’t have the “greatest relationship” in recent times, not that it was “broken.” These are just industry writers instigating misleading context. I take it guys like Michael Montero are given rights to write under the alias “Miguel Rivera” because this name is always used for tabloid purposes on boxingscene.com

Second, Reynoso could say “BJS, Smith, Yildirim’s Derevyanchenko, Plant” and Canelo detractors will only state Yildirim knowing that 95% of FAILED and article written talk about negotiations never even included Yildirim for more than 2 years. So isn’t obvious that Yildirim is one of the several fighters to have been recently added. It’s almost as if the WBC stuck their nose to help Canelo knowing Canelo doesn’t care what intentions the WBC do. They WBC have been doing, imposing perks (odd belts), just to accommodate - in particular - fighters whom went against them...

And yet again, still NO INDUSTRY writers have written gossip regarding Gennady’s current problem with Canelo out of the picture.

I’ve had private conversations with other posters and they agree that it’s most likely a prejudice or racial thing. I think it’s not. I think it’s that fans gravitate to quiet church boys. It wasn’t like that before. I guess the likes of Ali’s character had people wanting him humbled...and any boxer who isn’t a loud mouth is considered the protagonist. Somewhat of a paradox amongst fans

The only wins on his record over people with any name value whatsoever are old wins over an ancient Glen Johnson and Marco Antonio Periban, and those were pedestrian UD wins. The fact that this guy's name is in anybody's mouth has to be a sign that palms are being greased somewhere.

Makes me wonder if all the bad blood stems from canelo’s refusal to fight Golovkin the third time... I specifically recall dlh giving interviews and saying he wanted Canelo to fight him while Canelo was somewhere else saying he was done with ggg.

I think that is what he's pushing for.

Step 1 will be demonstrating that GBP has not fulfilled the terms of the contract. GBP will likely pin it on the pandemic, arguing that the contract was frustrated which would make it voidable.

Right! Canelo has a contract with Golden Boy, but you are glossy over the fact that the contract signed by De La Hoya calls for Canelo having the final say on who he fights. Now here comes the deception by Oscar. He also signed a contract with DAZN that stipulates that DAZN has final say on who Canelo fights without informing either of his dishonesty. Oscar De La Hoya deceived both Canelo and DAZN. Can you spell slime bag when referring to Oscar?

Oscar promised DAZN that Canelo would fight GGG in order to get more more air time for his other fighters and he signed a contract with DAZN that gives DAZN the final say on who Canelo fights, but he had already signed contract with Canelo giving Canelo final say on who he fights. Oscar shiiit the bed on this one. He is a bit oily.

Canelo is a fine fighter. He beat a faded Kovalev though, but it was at light heavyweight, so why not fight the best in Beterbiev and Bivol. That would be a step to being known as one of the greatest ever, if he could beat them.

Canelo just wants the WBC belt.

Since Benavidez didn't have enough discipline to make weight he lost the belt on the scales. And Yildirim is the next one in line.

                    It's pretty simple.

But he has also been willing to fight Callum Smith, BJS, Caleb Plant etc. Let's not gloss over that fact.

Canelo should've dumped GBP when ODH relapsed during the week of the Floyd fight. if not then, surely he should've gotten out after the lawsuit regarding the kitchen utensils dropped.

I mean really would any of you stay with ODH after these things?
