His early years were basically his amateurs years so no different than guys with over 150 amateurs fights which is most American and Cuban and euro fighters.

I don’t think he broke his ribs. Tbh, it’s hard to see how territories worldwide handled their pandemics, particularly first world vs third world. Fighters get evaluated...question their mental state. It’s relevant because the promoter needs to make a decision to risk now or have his fighter wait.

For example. Nobody knew Breadman Edwards and his whole Fulton camp had been infected. Dude I sparred a couple months back, first in Feb.. next day and the proceeding weeks we started hearing about Covid. Let’s just say I I’m not too far from China. My daughter also felt ill, flu like like me at the same time. I didn’t get checked because in Feb it wasn’t that hardcore of news. The docs said my daughter had a “Beta” Virus. I think it was Covid. The Beta belongs to corona family of viruses.

Anyways. Then in July I sparred again and I got sick again the following day. Not as bad as the first, but weird stomach pains similar to back in Feb. I don’t take the corona think too seriously. I think a lot of it is hype and just the world dealing with what’s inevitable. By ratio our immunity can handle it no prob. I also think the world WHO have masked that it was inevitable with world population and other things to copy China’s ongoing culture for the last 15+ years wearing face masks as a part of life.

I think Beterbiev just wasn’t mentally ready. Or that sparring partner of his was copying Canelo moves! Lol
