I only sent him one email ever! Check below. I guess Bread didn’t like how I had to checkmate his GGG fanhood.

To sum it up Nunn in his prime is levels ahead of Jacobs. No way Golovkin comes close to beating a prime Michael Nunn. Nunn would befuddle and embarrass GGG.

Everytime GGG had to fight someone who can box his so-called invincibility was exposed and proved to be the work of a ko artist fighting those who were meant to be ko'd. Once GGG had to fight Jacob's and Canelo, two fighters who could box, he suddenly looked ordinary and confused.
Breadman can't be taken too seriously when he talks about Ward, GGG, Canelo, Loma, and especially Holyfield.

Don't get me wrong, Bread mos def knows boxing more than all of us, but objectivity goes out the window sometimes when he talks about those guys.

He does try to be objective though credit to him for 'trying'.

But I think he just made a horrendous opinion here.

GGG failed to KO all of the elite fighters he faced.

He didn't KO Jacobs, he didn't KO Canelo, he didn't KO Derevyanchenko.

In fact he arguably lost against all of those guys.

But we are expected to believe he KOs the greats of the past?

          Not possible.

Michael "Second To" Nunn hails from the mean streets of Davenport, Iowa, not Grand Rapids, Michigan. Not to be over nitpicky but, damn, Michigan already has, throughout the history of boxing, produced a boatload of credible fighters. Please, don't take Nunn from us. Doing so leaves us with Antwun Echols* and this one guy named Brandon Burke who is ALWAYS included in YouTube fastest KO type videos, as seen embedded below. He's the guy who goes to the ring in superhero boxer briefs and charges his opponent and gets blasted and it is over with. So, if you take Nunn from us you leave us with those two guys.
*Total side note: I met Antwun Echols last Tuesday at a local bus station. I overheard him talking about Nunn's "old a$s coming back so I am gonna try and fight again too..." he then said something to who he was talking to about having been on HBO, which was true, he was beaten by B-Hop in their rematch on HBO. So at this point, realizing who he must be I asked politely if he was Antwun, and he was nice enough to talk with me for a few minutes. I mentioned having very recently rewatching the fight he had with Brewer, which is a very entertaining fight, although not all that long. He goes down twice in the 4th I think it is. He said something like "Man, I hadn't been hit that hard in any fight before that. Each time I got up I thought I was ok, but when saw it on tape later I realized he ef'd me up bad. I was like "damn, I don't remember doin' that..." I didn't really catch his example though. Echols wins by stoppage in the following rd, which many think is a sh it ee stoppage, but I don't think it is all that bad. Anyhow, that was that story.

Boxing is not of one of those sports where the modern athletes are better. Many of the greats of the past would've destroyed today's fighters.

Damn shame on Bread because the bag is too short.

He was 35 before any of those "elite fighters" sacked up and fought him.

And just because one guy had trouble with one guy doesn't mean he'll have trouble with the other.

Just like Bread said, Ali beat Foreman, but lost to Frazier and Norton, who Foreman absolutely obliterated.

The trianglular theory often fails in boxing

Bro, I ain't talking about no triangular theory here. I'm talking about the ABILITY to KO elite opponents.

You can't be out here telling us this guy would KO so and so and so and so when he has failed to KO a SINGLE elite opponent.

Mario, my bad bro! I'm the guy who wrote in about Nunn. I realized 10 mins after I sent Bread the question that it was Davenport, IA and not Grand Rapids, but it was too late! No disrespect to Davenport intended On a side note: Nunn is back in Davenport thank God and I loved Breadman's response and opinion about one of my all-time favorite fighters!
