Do Smith and BJS regret initially asking for Jacobs/Kovalev purses for Canelo?

Hearn knew ahead of time DAZN’s move to cut Canelo’s pay by 50%. It was only months later that Smith and BJS acknowledged their cuts to 50% wanting around $5mil+.

They knew they wouldn’t see any Jacobs style purse ever again, and they knew even if a pandemic hadn’t happened, they wouldn’t get a Jacobs purse.

This is why they jumped on wanting $5mil.

The only way Smith or BJS get anything close to $5mil is if they unify when DAZN UK launches, but I’m thinking these two will only get $2.5mil each at most.

Their ticket sales won’t be priced high.. Smith and BJS, even though a good fight, isn’t high attendance demand.

Well BJS had the fight for the money he wanted, it obviously never happened because of COVID.

So I don’t think he can regret it, terms were agreed and he was happy

Yes, no, maybe so. I don't know and don't give a damn. Courtnelo won't be fighting anybody for a very long time. Smith and Saunders should just fight each other for much more money and get fair scoring instead of rigged Vegas scoring as a bonus.
