The fact that GB made money offers to Smith and Saunders shows that DAZN also approved them as 'premium' opponents, surely?

Hell, there are lots of guys at 168 and 175 that would be great and difficult fights for Canelo. Callum Smith, Beterbiev,Bivol,Plant and Benavidez would all fight him for fair pay, But does he want to fight them or a mediocre Turk for the vacant WBC 168 pound title?https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2020/9/9...ez-boxing-news
As per DAZN there aren't any big boxers for Canelo to fight so they're looking for mma guys now.Comment

actually if you look at the money generated these circus fights bring in more $$ than anything else on the table.
remember Logan Paul had pro boxers on his UNDERCARD. never forget.
DAZN wants to bring in subscriptions. a circus will do that. Callum Smith or BJS are for the hardcore fans (me included in that) but the casuals is what move the needleComment

DAZN's model is a fail since the beginning. Those fights are not long-term fights. They are one-and-done fights, and the casuals will never stay subscribed for other fights. If they want to stay afloat, they should start putting on good fights with their current pool of talents and make them happy. Common sense 101. This is not rocket science.actually if you look at the money generated these circus fights bring in more $$ than anything else on the table.
