Should DAZN give GGG a Bonus to Skip Szeremeta?

It just doesn’t make any sense how industry continues to say DAZN wants GGG vs Canelo. Then why does DAZN even care about the IBF 160 defense? Is the reason for the delay because GGG Promotions or DAZN don’t want to reveal that GGG would take a paycut for Szeremeta and GGG prefers to wait it out until better Covid news?

If Canelo didn’t get his May fight and DAZN inevitably felt financial losses for the originally approved guys in Smith and BJS, then why wasn’t there any buzz or statements for GGG who’s been out since Oct. 2019 with delayed dates for Szeremeta? Point is if Canelo’s dates fell off while DAZN acknowledged their fights to their fight, then why hasn’t DAZN affiliates or general industry instigated for GGG to skip Szeremeta?

If the consistency is true about cuts, why hasn’t industry reported GGG’s possible paycut? Is that why there’s now uncertainty for GGG’s ongoing delay with Szeremeta?

Therefore, why doesn’t GGg seize the moment and make the most with Canelo in December? People will bring this up when Dan Rafael discloses GGG’s purse Szeremeta... if that fight even gets made.

if they could pay to do that then they wouldnt be in this predicament they’re in now. word is that they’re trying to cut ggg’s guarantee too. i think fans need to accept that the u.s. experiment is about done

GGG Promotions ditched Devry to assure a Canelo fight and which is why they fought Vanes. So now it’s that time again.

But DAZN and GBP were under the impression that GGG Promotions still wanted to go with their Szeremeta fight. Why didn’t industry instigate for the consistent narrative that DAZN “needs” GGG vs Canelo subs to make a “difference?”

I mean what does the Szeremeta fight GIVE industry to boast about now that there’s a DAZN vs GBP narrative?

If GGG Truly wanted the fight with Canelo in the future and now see what’s going on, wouldn’t Loeffler advise GGG to take the fight now? GGG Promotions might not ever get the Canelo fight again.

Canelo may be tied up in court for years

I dont get it. If GGG is fighting Szeremeta, why is it not announced?

It s not a big fight, why drag it for so long? Perfect for the moment.

It should had replaced Canelo on September 12th.

Get it out of the way and clear the path for the meaningfull fights

Why???? It is plain as day Canelo never intended to fight GGG again EVER. So why shouldn't GGG remain a middleweight champion and a good champion fights his mandatory and doesn't give up a belt not to fight him like you know who. Don't worry about GGG. Mind your own Mexican bidness.

thats got nothing to do with what i said.

dazn is looking to cut his guarantee and he’s not happy about it which is why the mandatory fight hasnt been scheduled.

You’re referring to GGG, yes? I’ve been saying what you just said for the last month. I made a thread called “will GGG get a paycut also...”.

So my proposal is that both Canelo and GGG by some MIRACLE should just fight each other. Canelo has no options and both agreed to fight each other. So if the future looks grim for GGG’s checks here forward, Loeffler needs to do some magic with Oscar and Canelo directly.

Who knows, maybe Canelo and GGG can both conspire to justify their checks back at DAZN.

ggg's fight not being announced this late would mean that there could be trouble between him and dazn as well. He is overpaid, hasn't done much for dazn, don't want any tough fights, and dazn is bleeding money.
