Lomachenko -Mikey is the fight that should happen

Those two are about the same size. I wind it difficult to understand why they fight 2 divisions apart. After Lomachenko beats Lopez, this should be next fight for him. Make is somewhere between 135 and 147, I don`t care. It is a big fight, both guys are well known with fan bases.

I'd watch it. I considered Mikey one of the few to possibly upset Lomachenko years back and I am not changing my mind about it yet, though I favored Lomachenko then and I still do now. Miley has become underrated because of his loss to Spence but I don't punish guys like that, I reward them for daring to be great and he doesn't lose stock, Mikey is a tremendous fighter.

Yeah it’s too bad Arum verbally said he didn’t want to do business with Mikey again after their fallout with the Top Rank contract.

The infamous Mikey vs Loma appearance was intentionally done by Mikey to stab back at Arum. With Mikey doing nice purses with Haymon, what was the industry offer or circulation let alone Arum saying he wanted Mikey for Loma?

Lol. Arum never wanted that fight. Too risky. Why gamble with a former fighter that sat out Top Rank business?

Word on the street was Bob Arum didn't want to make the fight, so Mikey moved up in weight looking for new challenges.

Loma is a featherweight who fights above his natural weight and is already smaller naturally than his lightweight opponents. Mikey has fought at 135 when he was fully grown and 30 years old. He can make 135. Loma has always agreed to fight him at 135 and I think he would beat him. If Mikey wants the fight at 140 then tough sh it for him. Loma is already the smaller man if they fight at 135 and he has moved up enough. Anyone who wants to fight him can do it at 135 or fight somebody their own size..

Off topic, You are the guy with all the inside knowledge on the business of boxing. So can you explain why no fight has been made or talked about between Andrade and Saunders at 168. these two have been calling each other out and calling each other cowards for about two years now, They have the same manager and both fight on DAZN. Neither has a fight now and it would be a reasonable fight for both men and the best opponent either has fought in years, Why is this fight not being made?

Because Hearn is milking his roster the way Haymon marinates fights. Do you understand the sport of boxing? Being a Champion has its perks. It doesn’t necessarily mean IF THEY CAN sell out crowds, the other medium in broadcast. Broadcasting has its perks and metrics outside of general ticket sales. Point is Matchroom isn’t in any hurry lately considering they lost Jacobs to GBP and Farmer to GBP. Why do you think Matchroom boys priced themselves out with Canelo? Hearn tells them DAZN’s approval process so they’re able to take advantage of the insiders and talk about Canelo without the real intention of fighting him.

Andrade said he’d move to 168 for the WBo strap. BJS hasn’t openly invited that fight. Hearn is a middleman to have these guys just talk to stretch out DAZN’s time as the company continues to grow
